Bhavan’s Journal is a very renowned publication of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan having a very wide readership across the country and abroad. It was launched in the year 1954 by Kulapati K M Munshi, founder of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. Since then, it has featured articles touching upon various aspects of life, literature and culture by well-known personalities and writers including C Rajagopalachari, K M Munshi, S Radhakrishnan, Sir M Visvesvaraya, Nani Palkhivala and more.
Bhavan’s Journal Digital Archives covering issues from August 15, 1954 (Vol-1, Issue-1) till December 31, 2016 (Vol-63, Issue-10) are available for reference within the library. These cover issues of 63 years that include 1,551 issues covering 32,293 articles from 4,465 authors.
